At NY Photographics, we stand behind the quality of our vintage camera collection. We offer a comprehensive 30-day return policy to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase.
Return Eligibility
To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:
- Item must be returned within 30 days of delivery
- Item must be in the same condition as when received
- All original packaging, accessories, and documentation must be included
- Item must not show signs of use beyond initial inspection
- Certificate of authenticity must be returned with the item
How to Initiate a Return
Step 1: Contact Us
Email us at [email protected] or call +1 (555) VINTAGE within 30 days of receiving your item.
Step 2: Return Authorization
We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.
Step 3: Package Securely
Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
Step 4: Ship Back
Ship the item back using the provided return label or your preferred insured shipping method.
Return Shipping
Return shipping policies:
- Defective Items: We cover all return shipping costs for defective or misrepresented items
- Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
- International Returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping and any customs fees
- Insurance Required: All returns must be shipped with full insurance coverage
Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect your returned item:
- Inspection will be completed within 3-5 business days
- You will be notified via email of the inspection results
- If approved, refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable (except for defective items)
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different item, please return your current purchase and place a new order for the desired item.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Items damaged by misuse or normal wear
- Items returned without original packaging
- Items returned after 30 days
- Custom or specially ordered items (unless defective)
- Items purchased with special promotional pricing (case by case basis)
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective item:
- Contact us immediately upon receipt
- Provide photos of the damage or defect
- We will arrange for immediate replacement or full refund
- All shipping costs will be covered by us
- Priority processing for damaged/defective returns
